Operations Associate (Biotech)

Location: Onsite in Raritan, New Jersey, United States. The role requires work in a cGMP cleanroom and manufacturing areas.

Base pay: $59,168–$77,658 per year, plus performance-based bonus and/or equity where eligible.

What you will do

• Execute manufacturing and manufacturing-support processes for autologous CAR-T products in a controlled cGMP cleanroom.
• Perform cell culturing, purification, aseptic processing, cryopreservation, and other process unit operations according to SOPs and batch records.
• Record production data in SOPs, logbooks, and GMP documentation according to Good Documentation Practices.
• Support production schedules, material availability, schedule adjustments, investigations, audits, and departmental meetings.
• Contribute to manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle biological materials and hazardous chemicals while maintaining PPE, safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.
• High school diploma with 3–5 years of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or equivalent industry experience; or an associate degree in life sciences or manufacturing with 2–3 years of related experience; or a bachelor's degree in life sciences with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, manufacturing-support, or laboratory equipment, routine and non-routine testing, sampling methods, and process excellence tools.
• Ability to follow written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions, solve practical problems, and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, reach, work in gowning procedures, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to meet visual acuity and color perception requirements and work with biological materials and hazardous chemicals.
