Safety & Quality Intern

Location: Winsted, Minnesota, United States. Onsite internship from May 31, 2027 to August 13, 2027, 40 hours per week. Work visas, relocation, and housing are not sponsored.

Salary: $22–$25 per hour

What you will do

• Support the development, review, and revision of safety and quality work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist with Environmental, Health & Safety projects, including emissions surveys and water pollution prevention initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on safety, quality, compliance, and operational improvements.
• Support employee training and engagement related to quality and welding requirements.
• Maintain data integrity and reliability for the Quality Inspection Department.

Requirements

• Current college enrollment, ideally during the final two years of study.
• Interest in safety, quality, technology, and manufacturing.
• Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing studies.
• Must be available for the onsite internship in Winsted, Minnesota from May 31 through August 13, 2027.
• Must not require work visa sponsorship, relocation, or housing support.
