SAP Technical Business Analyst - FICO

Location: Onsite in Chicago, Illinois, or Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Translate finance, Treasury, and Tax business requirements into detailed SAP functional specifications.
• Configure and implement SAP FICO processes covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, costing, general ledger, and fixed assets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and business analysts to align SAP solutions with business strategies.
• Prepare business requirements documentation and BRDs, including cross-functional impacts, risks, cost-benefit analysis, and audit considerations.
• Plan and execute testing, deployment, documentation, and project resource activities.
• Troubleshoot SAP FICO issues, support and train end users, and adapt solutions to SAP updates and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information science, accounting, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO business analyst or in a related role.
• Expertise in SAP ECC and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA; basic knowledge of other SAP modules is expected for cross-functional delivery.
• Experience planning and executing large projects, including testing and deployment.
• Ability to explain technical processes to non-technical users and communicate across organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with effective change management and relationship-building skills.
