Diesel Mechanic

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel heavy-duty trucks and refuse equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, fuel systems, aftertreatment systems, and emissions components.
• Service chassis, suspension, drivetrain, steering, transmission, braking, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical concerns with scan tools and other electronic equipment.
• Repair HVAC systems and perform line maintenance, welding, and fabrication.
• Complete required company training and related maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
• Ability to independently inspect and repair several heavy-truck or automotive systems, including suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, or diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred CDL Class B or higher; ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8 are advantageous but not required.

Nice to have

• LNG and/or CNG experience.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8.
• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License.
