Salary: $77,000–$97,000 per year

What you will do

• Teach assigned nursing courses in classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings, including flexible evening and weekend instruction.
• Create student-centered learning experiences using innovative teaching strategies, technology, and evidence-based practices.
• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, identify learning needs, and develop remediation strategies.
• Facilitate clinical and simulation experiences that build critical thinking, patient safety, and professional nursing competencies.
• Participate in committees, program evaluation, accreditation activities, faculty mentoring, and professional service.
• Maintain clinical expertise and use technology, data, and AI-enabled tools to improve teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• At least two years of professional nursing experience related to the teaching discipline.
• Clinical nursing expertise and experience in the specialty areas being taught.
• Active, unencumbered nursing licensure or certification required for the relevant discipline.
• Strong communication, judgment, initiative, interpersonal skills, and commitment to student-centered learning.
• Experience with learning management systems, simulation equipment, online learning platforms, and technology-supported teaching.

Nice to have

• Scholarship in discovery, integration, practice/application, or teaching and learning.
• Experience supporting faculty development, accreditation, or academic program evaluation.
