Automotive Technician / Mechanic

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles across a wide range of makes and models.
• Complete accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Use automotive knowledge, tools, OEM diagnostic scan tools, and computer or tablet systems to resolve vehicle issues.
• Collaborate with technicians and the service department to address guest concerns, meet deadlines, and deliver quality repairs.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization standards in the shop.
• Senior technicians mentor newer mechanics and support a collaborative shop environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
• ASE certifications are preferred, including L1 and A1–A8, or a plan to obtain them.
• Strong communication skills, professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to guest service.
• Ability to lift or move more than 100 pounds occasionally, work in tight spaces, and use hand tools with precision.
• Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday, drive manual-transmission vehicles, and work on vehicles lifted overhead.
