Reconciliation Analyst Intern

Location: Boise office with work from home Fridays

What you will do

• Compare investment portfolio data from external sources with the reconciliation system.
• Review and update reporting data to support accurate daily portfolio status updates.
• Investigate reconciliation issues and help address them with guidance from experienced analysts.
• Communicate with data providers, clients, and internal stakeholders under supervision.
• Complete assigned projects and learning modules while developing financial and technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Sciences, or a related field; rising juniors or seniors preferred.
• Basic understanding of investment, financial, and accounting concepts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• No prior professional experience required; eagerness to learn and solve problems is expected.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS.
• Understanding of standard security types.
• Coursework or interest in securities or financial markets.
• VBA experience.
