Biotechnologist I (Days)

Location: US - Portsmouth, NH; onsite 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a rotating schedule

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including purification systems, CIP, and SIP processes.
• Execute downstream manufacturing operations such as chromatography, filtration, and product processing.
• Support column packing, viral reduction filtration, product sampling, pH testing, and conductivity testing.
• Move materials safely across production areas and maintain equipment and facilities through cleaning and sanitization.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, review documentation, and participate in shift handovers, team meetings, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an AS or BS in a science-related field is preferred.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, or regulated production environments is preferred.
• Experience with downstream purification, chromatography operations, or filtration systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate procedure execution, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with column packing and viral reduction filtration.
• AS or BS in a science-related field.
