Entry Level Chemist (Package Testing)

Location: Lancaster, PA, USA; onsite, not remote. Full-time second- or third-shift schedule: Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat, 2pm–12am or 12am–10am. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Lancaster, PA. No relocation assistance is provided; up to 25% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Complete training and perform laboratory analyses of biopharmaceutical ingredients and products with an experienced analyst or mentor.
• Prepare and review reagents, samples, standards, and test materials according to procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation independently or with guidance.
• Document testing, observations, deviations, calculations, and results in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, productivity, and adherence to GMP and GLP standards.
• Maintain laboratory operations, equipment, safety, housekeeping, and client communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or a related field; no industry laboratory experience is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship indefinitely.
• Microbiology laboratory skills, including pipetting, microscopy, staining, and plating.
• Good laboratory technique, dexterity, accuracy, attention to detail, and understanding of instrumentation.
• Ability to read analytical procedures and SOPs, perform calculations, use Microsoft Windows applications, process data, and prepare reports.
• Ability to work with moderate supervision after training, multitask, communicate effectively, and meet quality and productivity requirements.
