Claims Officer (Insurtech)

What you will do

• Manage and process insurance claims from first notification through resolution.
• Handle partner validation processes and investigate claims to determine their validity.
• Assess coverage according to policy conditions.
• Manage written and phone correspondence with customers and stakeholders.
• Calculate settlements, process payments, and maintain accurate claim records.
• Identify improvements and implement new processes and technologies for claims handling.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of claims-handling experience in an insurance company, MGA, broker, or third-party administrator.
• Fluent English required.
• Working knowledge of Google applications, including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Slack.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly, multitask, and prioritize conflicting workloads under pressure.
• Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, open-minded, curious, flexible, and proactive approach.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of another European language.
• Affinity with technology.
