Manager Pension Investments

Location: Brussels, Belgium; hybrid schedule with 3 days on site and 2 days working from home. Occasional travel required, mainly to France, at approximately 5–10%.

Salary: €78,000–€104,667 per year.

What you will do

• Support the governance and investment management of French and Swiss defined contribution and defined benefit pension assets.
• Coordinate quarterly and year-end actuarial processes under IAS19 with People and Culture, Finance, affiliates, actuaries, and auditors.
• Monitor investment managers, lead manager calls, analyze performance, and maintain research documentation.
• Lead research projects to identify investment managers for new allocations or replacements.
• Prepare quarterly reports and briefing materials for the Global Pensions Investment Committee and support meeting organization.
• Apply AI tools to improve research and operational efficiency, including developing agentic analytical workflows.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience with a pension fund, pensions investment consulting, or asset management.
• General knowledge of and interest in finance, investments, and pensions.
• English and French language skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Degree in finance, investments, or a related field.
• Ability to work with local and international stakeholders, including investment managers, consultants, custodians, auditors, and union representatives.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment operations or investment manager research.
• CFA charterholder status, progress toward the CFA qualification, or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of actuarial subjects and IAS19.
• Additional language skills.
