Transport Data Analyst Intern

Location: Barcelona Hub, Spain; onsite at the Barcelona city center office in Poblenou. Internship available for 25 hours per week (09:00–14:00) or 35 hours per week (09:00–16:00) for a minimum of 6 months.

What you will do

• Identify manual and repetitive transport tasks and support their automation through digital tools and robotics solutions.
• Define and document operational processes, including objectives, scope, requirements, and business problems.
• Design and improve operational workflows using an automation-first approach.
• Define, track, and analyze operational KPIs with digital tools.
• Assess the impact of automation initiatives and support data-driven decisions within the Global Transport team.

Requirements

• SQL skills for analyzing large datasets.
• Python skills for workflow automation and generating actionable insights.
• Experience with BI tools for dashboards and real-time performance reports.
• Analytical thinking, a continuous improvement mindset, long-term vision, and the ability to turn insights into actionable solutions.
• Availability for 25 or 35 hours per week for at least 6 months.
