What you will do
- Manage auto loan accounts that are 60–89 days past due.
- Contact customers through inbound and outbound calls to resolve delinquency.
- Negotiate payment arrangements, settlements, and reinstatement options.
- Identify delinquency causes and recommend loss-mitigation solutions.
- Document account activity, customer commitments, and call notes accurately.
- Maintain compliance with FDCPA, CFPB, state regulations, and company policies while meeting collection performance goals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of collections experience, preferably in auto finance.
- Experience handling accounts that are 60 or more days past due.
- Strong negotiation, customer communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of FDCPA and consumer protection regulations.
- Proficiency with CRM and collection systems.
- Bilingual Spanish and English communication required.
Nice to have
- Auto finance or secured lending collections experience.
- Experience with repossession prevention and reinstatement.
- Familiarity with skip tracing and advanced contact strategies.
