Senior Equity Research Analyst, AI Platform

Location: Hybrid, 3 days in office at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, USA

Salary: $200,000–$235,000 yearly, plus bonus eligibility and RSUs.

hirify.global is a media and entertainment company whose CNBC business is developing StockStory, an AI-powered equity research platform for individual investors.

What you will do

• Convert equity research insights into scalable AI platform features for stock discovery, research, and selection.
• Design and evaluate LLM workflows that process unstructured data into structured metrics and investment factors.
• Develop and evaluate sector-based factor models using fundamental research, statistical methods, and quantitative factor design.
• Oversee stock-picking model alignment and produce structured reports for retail investors.
• Partner with Engineering to build pipelines using APIs, DAGs, and databases, and ship analysis capabilities.
• Establish reproducible backtests and evaluations for research and modeling outputs.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of buy-side public markets investing experience focused on long-term fundamental analysis.
• Experience with idea generation, equity research, portfolio analysis, and rigorous process-driven investment strategies.
• Practical experience with LLM workflows in equity research, including prompt and context engineering, structured extraction, and error analysis.
• Programming, coding, or data experience, with the ability to collaborate with Engineering on automated equity analysis features.
• Multi-sector fundamental research experience that has influenced long-term investment decisions.
• Strong forensic accounting knowledge and experience building three-statement and sector-wide models.
