Manager, Finance (Infrastructure)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, at hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street

Salary: CAD 110,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Review quarterly financial reporting to investors, including US GAAP financial statements and fund and investment performance metrics.
• Review NAV packs and working papers prepared by external fund administrators for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage fund capital activity, liquidity, and forecasting.
• Present significant quarterly transactions to senior management and coordinate external service providers.
• Work with internal and external auditors while maintaining appropriate control documentation.
• Analyze complex accounting treatments, improve processes, manage special projects, and develop finance staff.

Requirements

• University degree in business or accounting; an accounting background is an asset.
• Professional accounting designation such as CPA or CA.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with financial systems and advanced Excel.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment and lead a high-performing team.

Nice to have

• Experience with private funds and the investment management industry.
• Knowledge of complex ownership structures and their impact on fund flows and consolidation.
