TL;DR
Senior Strategy Manager (Sustainability & ESG): Shaping enterprise and portfolio strategies and leading strategic projects across transport, energy, tourism, and consumer businesses with an accent on growth, commercial performance, and social impact. Focus on structured problem-solving, commercial diagnostics, transformation initiatives, investment analysis, and developing new business opportunities.

Location: Hybrid role based across the Sydney CBD and Sydney Olympic Park offices, with some work from home as required and agreed

hirify.global is a member-owned Australian organisation operating across roadside assistance, electric vehicle charging, holiday parks and lodges, car rentals, harbour transport, and ocean cruising.

What you will do

  • Support the development and refresh of enterprise, portfolio, and business-unit strategies with senior leaders.
  • Plan and deliver annual strategy offsites for executives and the Board.
  • Facilitate annual planning and quarterly business reviews with Group Finance.
  • Support divisional leaders in refining strategic priorities and developing aligned OKRs.
  • Lead strategic projects from conception through execution, including membership propositions, commercial diagnostics, transformation initiatives, investment analysis, and new business opportunities.
  • Develop high-impact recommendations through structured problem-solving, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in corporate strategy and/or consulting.
  • Experience in growth strategy, M&A, commercial transformation, digital strategy and transformation, or product innovation.
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to lead projects or workstreams independently.
  • Advanced skills in Excel modelling, data visualisation, PowerPoint storytelling, and AI for research and analysis.
  • Excellent structured communication, stakeholder influence, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to transport, energy, tourism, or consumer industries.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification.
