Principal Business Consultant (AI)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end onboarding and post-Gate 2 configuration for complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-jurisdictional customers.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable SaaS solutions and define solution patterns for non-standard requirements.
• Develop methodologies, standards, advisory frameworks, audit standards, and control models for data inventory, ROT analysis, classification, retention, and disposal governance.
• Advise senior customer stakeholders, influence governance decisions, and deputise for the CSM in executive forums when required.
• Coach consultants on dependency management, taxonomy quality, gate discipline, artefact standards, and onboarding playbook quality.
• Define the function’s time-to-first-value approach, analyse delivery blockers and velocity, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in records management and information governance, including classification, retention design, defensible disposal, and audit-ready evidence.
• Substantial client-facing consulting experience as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, preferably in financial services, government, or critical infrastructure.
• Strong SaaS implementation or functional onboarding experience, including connector deployment, metadata configuration, or integration tooling.
• Ability to translate business goals into configurable, scalable solutions and communicate ROI and success criteria to executives.
• Demonstrated mentoring, practice leadership, or ownership of playbooks and templates.
• Fluent and responsible use of AI in professional delivery work.

Nice to have

• Participation in records management or information-governance forums such as RIMPA, ARMA, IRMS, or ASA.
• Formal study or certification in Records Management, Information Management, or Business Information Systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Exchange, or comparable enterprise content platforms.
