Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia

Salary: AUD $115,000–$160,000 per year, including superannuation; equity options available

hirify.global builds software and AI agents for construction, engineering, manufacturing, and energy companies, including the Dashpivot, Gearbelt, hirify.global App, and Flowsite platforms.

What you will do

• Build and ship product features across frontend, backend, and mobile applications.
• Work with AI tools and agentic engineering practices for planning, implementation, and code review.
• Fix bugs and improve product stability across web and mobile products.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Take increasing ownership of feature delivery from technical approach through release and production performance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and shipping production software.
• Experience with AI-powered developer tools and agentic engineering practices.
• Product mindset with the ability to understand customer problems beyond implementing tickets.
• Ability to work independently and own features end to end.
• Essential tools: TypeScript or JavaScript, React or Angular, and Node.js.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup from the Sydney or Melbourne office.

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB or AWS.
• React Native or other mobile development experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup or product environment.
• Projects built at a startup, as a side project, during a bootcamp, or at university.
