Engineer III - Mechatronics (Marine)

What you will do

• Develop hydraulic and electromechanical actuator solutions for marine drive applications.
• Create cohesive actuator designs using a systems engineering approach and incorporate voice of customer requirements.
• Guide technicians through detailed test execution and contribute to data-based engineering activities.
• Support mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for existing and new actuator products.
• Participate in DFMEA activities, product development, and quality improvement projects.
• Collaborate with procurement and quality teams throughout the product development cycle.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a product development-related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, robotics engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, sensors, power electronics, and brushed and brushless motors.
• Experience with data acquisition, test design, and DFMEA-based design methods.
• Strong technical background and communication skills.
• Experience working with procurement and quality teams during product development.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrohydraulic or electromechanical actuators or hydraulic circuits.
• Experience designing or manufacturing seals and wear components.
• Experience operating a multifunction oscilloscope.
• Interest in the marine environment and quality improvement.
