Senior Marketing Specialist (Energy Marketing)

Location: Remote from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, with occasional client-site and team meetings in Reston, Virginia; local travel is required for meetings, events, and activations, less than 10%.

Salary: $67,034–$113,958 annually for full-time employment.

What you will do

• Support marketing and advertising programs that increase customer awareness, engagement, and participation in energy-efficiency initiatives in the Philadelphia area.
• Serve as a client-facing contributor by organizing updates, preparing materials, presenting recommendations, and addressing client feedback.
• Coordinate with creative and media services teams on digital, social, website, email, direct mail, video, print, outdoor, broadcast, event, and outreach campaigns.
• Use research, performance data, customer insights, and local market context to develop messaging, targeting, optimization plans, and recommendations.
• Lead marketing-material review and approval, coordinate cross-functional deployment, manage budgets, and prepare monthly performance reports.
• Support business growth through marketing to prospective clients and responses to requests for proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or 9+ years of relevant experience without the degree requirement.
• Experience in marketing, advertising, social marketing, or a related field, particularly consumer marketing in an advertising agency or consulting firm.
• Philadelphia-area location or strong familiarity with Philadelphia and its local customer and community context.
• Experience developing and executing marketing communications, advertising, collateral, public relations, event, digital, and social media projects.
• Experience with client support, creative briefing and review, campaign execution, performance reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
