TL;DR
Customer Technology Advisor Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) (Data & AI consulting): Designing and scaling data and AI capabilities for enterprise customers with an accent on modern data platforms, governance, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI. Focus on leading complex pre-sales engagements, shaping end-to-end architectures, and translating business challenges into measurable technology outcomes.

Location: Vienna, Austria; valid Austrian work permission is required

Salary: Minimum €88,900 gross per year

What you will do

  • Advise CIOs, CDOs, and AI leaders on data modernization, analytics, and AI adoption.
  • Lead Data & AI solution design in complex sales and pre-sales engagements.
  • Shape end-to-end architectures covering data ingestion, governance, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.
  • Create proposals, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and value narratives linked to business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, and other technology partners.
  • Translate developments in GenAI, advanced analytics, and data platforms into client-ready offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Data & AI consulting, architecture, or advisory roles with direct customer responsibility.
  • Experience in consultative selling and selling technical services to multinational customers.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into Data & AI strategies and lead technical direction.
  • Fluent German and English are required.
  • Valid work permission in Austria is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or other modern data platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, advanced analytics, or knowledge graphs such as Neo4j.
