Senior Communications Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada; travel for offsites, team meetings, customer and industry events is required.

Annual base salary: USD 137,000–199,000 for US-based roles or CAD 113,000–164,000 for Canada-based roles, plus benefits, equity, and applicable incentive programs.

What you will do

• Build media strategies and maintain relationships with security, technology, business, and developer journalists.
• Support executive and technical spokespeople through briefings, bylines, speaking opportunities, and media interviews.
• Lead press releases, contributed articles, blog posts, executive communications, and other narrative content.
• Develop communications and speaking strategies for events including RSA Conference, Black Hat, and Infosecurity Europe.
• Monitor cybersecurity, identity, AI, and technology developments and coordinate rapid-response communications.
• Measure coverage, message adoption, and audience engagement to improve communications programs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing within B2B technology.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity and access management, credential security, AI agents, and developer workflows.
• Established relationships with security, technology, business, or developer media.
• Strong strategic storytelling, writing, editorial judgment, and ability to explain complex technical topics.
• Experience collaborating with marketing, product, engineering, security, legal, sales, executive teams, and agencies.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
