Senior Application Security Engineer

Location: Remote; U.S. citizenship required for the Public Trust Clearance

Salary: $140,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Engineer and optimize integrated systems supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop solutions that improve system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Perform SAST and DAST scanning using Veracode and Burp Enterprise.
• Secure enterprise web applications using OWASP Top 10, CVSS, CWE, WASC, and SANS-25 practices.
• Evaluate technologies and system architectures and provide strategic recommendations.
• Develop pipelines and troubleshoot application connectivity in Linux-based environments.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 4+ years of experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1+ year of experience with SAST, DAST, and IDE plug-in environments using Veracode.
• 2+ years of experience with Java, Python, .NET, or C#.
• 3+ years of experience implementing enterprise-wide security controls for applications, systems, networks, or infrastructure services.
• 2+ years of experience in Linux-based environments, including coding or scripting and basic website connectivity troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Experience with IAST tools, HackerOne, Selenium, Bash scripting, OWASP ZAP, or Burp Proxy.
