Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, with the Servo Valve team in East Aurora, NY. The role requires approximately 20–25% domestic travel and access to U.S. export-controlled information.
Salary: $100,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical resource for customers using servo valve solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
- Recommend products, support system optimization and product selection, and provide application guidance.
- Conduct on-site assessments, system verification, and occasional valve tuning.
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements supporting proposals and business opportunities.
- Deliver technical training and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and global product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least five years of experience in engineering, applications, systems, field service, technical customer support, or product support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or electromechanical systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to travel approximately 20–25% domestically.
Nice to have
- Experience with servo valves, hydraulic systems, fluid power, motion control, industrial automation, or control systems.
- Experience reading hydraulic, electrical, and system-level schematics.
- Knowledge of sensors, controls, and electronic components used in industrial systems.
- Customer support experience in industrial, manufacturing, automation, or motion control environments.
