What you will do

• Support principal investigators with clinical trial protocol development, review processes, budgets, and study materials.
• Coordinate patient recruitment, registration, enrollment, treatment, visits, laboratory and radiographic assessments, and study completion.
• Monitor test results, collect and prepare specimens, manage protocol data, and document findings in patient charts.
• Provide protocol education to patients and families, coordinate referrals, administer medications, and support patient care needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, care coordination staff, institute teams, and external research organizations.
• Support quality assurance and improvement projects, regulatory compliance, staff training, professional reports, presentations, and publications.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• Associate degree holders must complete a BSN within four years.
• Completion of the Oncology Nurse Residency Program or one year of recent Registered Nurse experience.
• Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or, as appropriate, the State of New Hampshire required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; AHA ACLS is accepted as the minimum requirement.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, evidence-based nursing, clinical research, and oncology knowledge required.

Nice to have

• Ambulatory or oncology experience.
• Professional nursing certification such as OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, or RN-BC.
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
