Simulation Coordinator (Healthcare Simulation)

Location: Bryan, Texas, United States; onsite role with on-campus simulation events, physical room setup, equipment preparation, and occasional travel of 20% or more.

Salary: $4,583.34 annually.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate simulation learning and testing events, including scheduling, room setup, and equipment preparation.
• Direct Simulated Participants and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned events from planning through debriefing.
• Support on-campus and TeleSim events while ensuring participant safety and adherence to healthcare simulation best practices.
• Collaborate with Program Coordinators on Simulated Participant scheduling and training.
• Work with Technology Coordinators to verify equipment functionality and resolve event issues.
• Maintain simulation spaces, supplies, training materials, documentation, and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree and at least one year of related experience in simulation, healthcare, event management, or customer service; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to obtain the Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist or Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator certification within three years of hire.
• Ability to multitask, collaborate effectively, and work in a high-stress environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to work occasional hours beyond the normal schedule and travel 20% or more when required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in health, project management, or communications.
• Experience with human patient simulators or audio/visual systems.
• Three years of experience in simulation, healthcare, event management, or customer service.
