TL;DR
Senior AI Engineer (Marketing/Generative AI): Leading a marketing AI platform team and developing production generative AI capabilities for content creation, multilingual applications, and workflow automation with an accent on LLM deployment, evaluation, guardrails, and stakeholder-driven product design. Focus on architecting reliable data and state layers, scaling retrieval and asynchronous processing, and shipping safe incremental features into a live financial technology product.
Location: Larnaca, Cyprus; hybrid model with 2 days working from home

What you will do
- Lead the Marketing Platform AI engineering team, setting technical direction, engineering standards, delivery plans, and development practices.
- Own platform releases and integrate new capabilities into the live product without disrupting existing users.
- Partner with Marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into AI models, agents, and technical specifications.
- Design and extend generative AI capabilities for marketing content production with human review and approval workflows.
- Lead multilingual AI development across model selection, adaptation, quality evaluation, deployment, and production serving.
- Build scalable data, state, retrieval, evaluation, and guardrail systems for reliable workflow execution and generated-content quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of backend software development experience, including 2+ years building and deploying LLM or generative AI applications in production.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers and accountability for delivery commitments and code quality.
- Strong Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, cloud infrastructure, and ideally AWS experience.
- Hands-on experience with model adaptation or fine-tuning, systematic evaluation, deployment, serving, retrieval-augmented generation, and vector search.
- Full professional proficiency in English and legal authorization to work in Cyprus are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with content generation, marketing technology, or creative production platforms.
- Experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks or the Model Context Protocol.
- Experience with multilingual NLP, machine translation, workflow engines, approval flows, or role-based access control.
- Familiarity with FinTech, FX trading, or financial services operations.
