TL;DR

What you will do
- Lead day-to-day operations of Process R&D laboratories and maintain a safe, organized, and productive environment.
- Optimize laboratory organization, space utilization, reagent management, inventory control, supplies, and shared services.
- Manage laboratory equipment across procurement, installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Purchasing, IT, suppliers, and laboratory users on capabilities and improvements.
- Oversee safety practices, documentation, risk assessments, compliance, onboarding, and user training.
- Drive continuous improvement focused on productivity, sustainability, reliability, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- University degree or advanced vocational qualification in Chemistry, Laboratory Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Analysis and Quality Control, or a related field.
- Experience managing laboratory operations, equipment, facilities, or technical activities in an industrial or R&D environment.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety, chemical management, risk assessment, documentation standards, and compliance.
- Experience purchasing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Ability to collaborate with EHS, Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing, IT, suppliers, and laboratory users.
- Functional English skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, plus inventory, task-tracking, and record-keeping systems.

- Experience with risk-based decision-making and continuous improvement in laboratory environments.
