Summer 2027 Internship - DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) - 30231

Location: San Antonio, TX, US; hybrid schedule with an average of 2 days per week at the office

Salary: $22.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain distributed computing systems and configuration management automation.
• Use Python and Bash for automation and product feature development.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported application issues and provide technical support.
• Perform quality assurance testing.
• Prioritize and resolve open issues and tickets in a fast-paced small-business environment.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent and active pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 60% of required credits completed.
• Experience with Python software development and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software, AWS or other cloud platforms, Kubernetes or other containerization technologies, and the Linux command line.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and spend an average of 2 days per week at the San Antonio office.
• Self-motivation, problem-solving ability, and the ability to multitask and prioritize issues.

Nice to have

• Current Secret-level security clearance.
• Prior technical internship experience.
• Security+ certification.
