Senior Fullstack Java and Angular Developer (Compliance Software)

Location: Porto, Portugal — hybrid, with up to 2 remote days per week. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

Work on compliance and regulatory software supporting the Single Resolution Board and banking-sector oversight.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and test Java/Spring Boot microservices and Angular frontends for regulatory compliance.
• Analyze user requirements with cross-functional teams and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create technical design documentation, maintain system modules, and troubleshoot production and SIT issues.
• Deploy containerized microservices on OpenShift using automated CI/CD pipelines with XL Deploy and XL Release.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, documentation, development standards, and automation initiatives.
• Align software development with banking compliance and regulatory reporting objectives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience in full-stack Java and Angular projects.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Experience with relational databases, including Oracle and SQL.
• Familiarity with OpenShift container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, and XL Release.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, and existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• DevOps or container-management certifications and additional related skills.
• Experience with banking or financial-services compliance projects.
