Financial Analyst, Senior (DoD)

Location: Hybrid in Quantico, Virginia, United States

Supports Department of Defense financial execution, budget analysis, and planning activities.

What you will do

• Support daily and weekly MAGTF C2 financial execution and provide analytical execution reports.
• Generate Funding Action Requests through the DAI iProcurement module and track execution against budget plans and OSD benchmarks.
• Perform financial, cost, budget formulation, variance, cost-benefit, and funding shortfall analyses for POM planning.
• Prepare audit, ad hoc, and RFI reports, including reconciliation of dormant and abnormal accounts.
• Analyze fiscal year closeout and startup procedures and recommend process improvements to the Government.

Requirements

• 12 years of relevant experience delivering DoD financial execution and budget analysis.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ADP-II/IT-2 (T-3) eligibility.
• Hands-on experience with DoD financial systems such as DAI, PIEE, Cerberus, or equivalents.
• Availability for hybrid work in Quantico, Virginia.

Nice to have

• USMC or Navy program office financial management support experience.
• End-to-end experience supporting PPBE and POM build cycles.
• Audit readiness or abnormal account reconciliation experience.
• Ability to respond calmly to same-day RFIs.
