Fullstack Engineer (Vue/React)

Location: Athens, Greece; hybrid workplace

hirify.global develops data products including MarineTraffic and hirify.global Terminal for global users.

What you will do

• Build and scale end-to-end client-facing capabilities such as interactive maps, unified search, and custom user dashboards.
• Develop Node.js microservices and Backend-for-Frontend layers that compose data from adjacent engineering teams.
• Support migration of core applications to Atlas, a shared Tailwind-based design system built with Vue 3 and React.
• Improve developer tooling, monorepo automation, CI pipelines, and internal support for around 20 feature teams.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools such as Cursor and Claude Code into daily development while maintaining architectural quality.
• Contribute to code reviews, pair programming, and architecture discussions based on Domain-Driven Design and hexagonal architecture.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience building modern web applications.
• Strong TypeScript skills and experience with Vue or React.
• Experience maintaining shared tools, component libraries, or internal frameworks used by other developers.
• Ability to own feature lifecycles end to end, including Node.js backend and BFF services when needed.
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Pragmatic, collaborative approach focused on shipping value, receiving feedback, and iterating.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mapbox, GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL, or Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Python or Scala.
• Exposure to hexagonal architecture, micro-frontends, event-driven systems, or monorepos.
