NDT Inspector

What you will do

• Prepare, perform, and follow up on non-destructive tests and dimensional inspections of generator, gas turbine, and steam turbine components.
• Conduct inspections at supplier locations according to technical specifications and review related documentation.
• Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies between inspection results and supplier findings.
• Support supplier qualification, development, and quality improvement for purchased parts.
• Analyze defect causes and initiate preventive and corrective actions with suppliers.
• Implement supplier quality management methods, risk management, and preventive measures in collaboration with global teams and internal partners.

Requirements

• Completed technical education, mechanical engineering education, CWI, CWE, or a similar qualification.
• Certification according to ASNT-TC-1A, ISO 9712, or an equivalent standard in VT, MT, PT, and UT at least to Level II.
• Several years of relevant NDT experience with welded or cast components, including experience with the DGS method.
• Knowledge of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and RCA.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office and SAP, with precise work, initiative, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 80%.
