What you will do
- Support the firm’s strategy for legal innovation, AI adoption, and value realisation.
- Translate legal and business requirements into compliant workflows across approved AI and legal technology platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions with attorneys and paralegals.
- Design, build, and iterate on agentic GenAI workflows, retrieval-augmented generation solutions, and API integrations.
- Evaluate prototypes through benchmarking, accuracy and hallucination testing, analytics, and user adoption metrics.
- Document solutions, create training materials, and support pilots, rollouts, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Legal practice degree and admission as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 4 years of experience practicing corporate transactional law in a large law firm or in-house legal department.
- Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code and agent-development platforms such as Power Automate, Power Apps, or Copilot Studio.
- Practical experience with generative AI, prompt and context engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model evaluation, and LLM limitations.
- Ability to configure automation, workflow, or AI tools and translate legal reasoning into structured technology-driven processes.
- Strong communication, project management, organisational, collaboration, and technical learning skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
- Experience in legal technology, product implementation, consulting, or AI-enabled workflows.
- Knowledge of document assembly and AI-assisted drafting or diligence tools.
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Teams, Box, iManage, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, or Microsoft Office.
