PIM/MDM Senior Implementation Consultant (Pimcore)

Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam or Groningen, Netherlands. Includes flexible hours and up to four weeks of remote work per year from anywhere.

What you will do

• Lead workshops to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Advise clients on Pimcore PIM, DAM, and MDM implementations and data architecture.
• Support developers and delivery teams throughout implementation projects.
• Recommend AI-driven automation and improvements for client IT landscapes.
• Challenge assumptions to ensure sustainable, long-term solutions.
• Maintain quality and continuity from pre-sales through go-live, implementation, and optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Implementation or Technical Consultant, preferably in a digital agency.
• Hands-on experience with Pimcore or similar enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
• Solid knowledge of data governance and migrations.
• Fluent spoken and written Dutch is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven systems, API gateways, SaaS integrations, or headless platforms.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as ARIA, keyboard navigation, and WCAG.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical project delivery.
• Experience in a digital agency or fast-paced project environment.
