Associate MSL Manager (IBD)

Location: Shanghai, China. Full-time position with required domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Identify, develop, and engage regional key opinion leaders in the IBD therapeutic area.
• Provide scientific support and respond to medical information inquiries about approved products and products or indications in development.
• Organize and moderate advisory boards, medical education activities, and regional or national medical events.
• Support medical and product training for sales representatives in coordination with Marketing.
• Collect external customer insights and communicate them to inform brand and medical strategy.
• Identify evidence gaps and support evidence generation from research concepts through publications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in medical science, pharmacology, or a related field.
• Medical Doctor or PhD preferred.
• At least 3 years of MSL experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic areas, competitors, healthcare, regulatory, and reimbursement environments.
• Strong communication, influence, analytical, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good command of English, fluent in writing, speaking, and listening.

Nice to have

• Clinical experience and knowledge of clinical research and regulations.
• Experience with analytics dashboards, competitive landscape analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in coaching, medical communications, medical compliance, and research and development.
