What you will do
- Develop strategic relationships with holding companies and individual media agencies across Greater China.
- Act as the primary agency contact and trusted advisor, delivering value to partners and the business.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams on agency partnerships.
- Create and execute regional agency development plans to support revenue growth and onboard new clients.
- Monitor partnership performance, provide recommendations, and maintain partner satisfaction.
- Represent the business at regional industry events and agency meetings while tracking market and technology trends.
Requirements
- 10+ years of media sales experience focused on media agency partnerships.
- Deep experience in a digital and/or social media company.
- Mandarin required for engaging stakeholders in China.
- Strong understanding of agency holding companies and established relationships across Greater China.
- Track record of managing high-value relationships and delivering commercial results.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, prioritization, and independent working skills.
Nice to have
- BA/BS degree; a Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Experience establishing or resetting an agency partnership in an under-indexed market.
- Fluency in how global brands brief regional and local agencies across Greater China.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
