Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Support the Cat Technology portfolio and customer coverage across Australia and New Zealand.
• Partner with HR Service Delivery and Talent Acquisition on talent, workforce, and people strategies.
• Advise managers, employees, and leaders on HR policies, practices, procedures, and applicable legislation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Cat Technology leadership team and lead local and global people projects.
• Develop talent solutions that improve employee engagement, leadership capability, and business results.
• Manage strategic HR initiatives alongside day-to-day administrative and transactional requirements.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Previous experience in a Human Resources function.
• Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of labour law, HR policies, practices, and procedures.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, organisation, analysis, confidentiality, and HR process management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar people management systems.
• Knowledge of total rewards strategies, market remuneration practices, compensation analysis, and role benchmarking.
