Medical Affairs Lead Mexico - Allergan Aesthetics

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; travel required 20–40% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead medical affairs strategy and implementation for assigned Allergan Aesthetics products and therapeutic areas in the affiliate.
• Provide scientific guidance to healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, external experts, hospitals, and academic centers.
• Coordinate advisory boards, scientific congress participation, medical education programs, and in-field medical activities.
• Support clinical research, including Phase IV and post-marketing activities, investigator-initiated studies, protocols, site feasibility, and study oversight.
• Review promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with brand and cross-functional teams, monitor competitive intelligence, manage budgets, and mentor direct reports.

Requirements

• Medical degree or bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or higher.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of drug development and clinical research are advantageous.
• Dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, or related pharmaceutical market experience is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English is highly desirable for collaboration with regional, area, and global medical affairs teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, planning, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and compliance skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a matrix organization, with 20–40% travel.
