Focus on validating financial data, preparing journal entries and reports, improving accounting processes through automation, and supporting junior analysts.
Location: Bogotá, Colombia; hybrid work with up to 50% remote work

What you will do
- Deliver monthly General Ledger closing and reporting services according to SLAs, Group timelines, and procedures.
- Review system interfaces, sub-ledger closures, journal entries, Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, and financial reconciliations.
- Prepare management, tax, legal, statutory, and ad-hoc reports for Group and country-level needs.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, SOX, audit requirements, KPIs, and the global Core Model.
- Identify process improvements, support automation initiatives, and contribute to standardization and knowledge transfer.
- Provide operational support and coaching to junior analysts and contribute to business reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience in General Ledger accounting, closing, and reporting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, with solid knowledge of IFRS and ideally local GAAPs.
- Hands-on SAP FICO experience required; advanced Microsoft Excel and good Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to support or coach junior team members and work across multicultural, cross-functional environments.
- Advanced English required.
