Security Analyst Intern Summer 2027 (Aerospace)

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; full-time, on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027.

Salary: $18.00 USD per hour. A relocation stipend may be available.

What you will do

• Support security education, intelligence and risk assessments, network infrastructure research, and physical security activities.
• Help protect personnel, assets, and intellectual property through physical security, program security, and enterprise risk management programs.
• Apply industry concepts to solve real security challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with mentors, supervisors, and security department colleagues while providing progress updates through regular one-on-one meetings.
• Participate in technical talks and professional networking events with interns and employees.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or a similar field.
• At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• At least 3 months of general work experience; internships and personal or team projects are acceptable.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Albuquerque for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027.
• For U.S. office work, eligibility under ITAR requirements is necessary, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, qualifying refugee or asylum status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Military experience, including active duty, reserves, or ROTC.
• Experience in the aerospace or technology industry.
