Summer 2027 Intern: Cybersecurity Undergrad (Cybersecurity): Securing Walmart's digital ecosystem through network security, application security, cyber intelligence, penetration testing, intrusion analysis, and data loss prevention with an accent on threat detection, secure development, and infrastructure monitoring. Focus on analyzing cybersecurity events, identifying vulnerabilities and threat actor patterns, designing security solutions, and improving detection and response capabilities.
Location: Onsite at the Walmart Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States. Housing and relocation assistance are available for interns living outside a 50-mile radius of the Walmart Home Office.
Salary: $21.00–$40.00 per hour.

What you will do
- Work on an individual cybersecurity project aligned with skills, interests, and available team opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and monitor network security infrastructure and security systems, conduct audits, and support security design.
- Design secure applications and services, implement security solutions within the SDLC, and conduct application threat modeling.
- Monitor cyber threats, correlate intelligence from multiple sources, identify threat actor patterns, and prepare intelligence briefings.
- Perform security testing, analyze vulnerabilities and security controls, and document findings.
- Monitor and remediate cybersecurity events, improve alert logic and procedures, and support data loss prevention activities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
- 0–2 years of full-time relevant experience; internships and research-based roles are excluded.
- Preferred academic areas include Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, or a related major.
- Ability to work onsite at the Bentonville, Arkansas Home Office.
