Security Analyst Intern (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; full-time, on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning January, February, or March 2027.

Salary: $25 USD per hour in California.

What you will do

• Support security education, intelligence and risk assessments, network infrastructure research, and physical security activities.
• Contribute to programs protecting personnel, assets, and intellectual property.
• Work with mentors and security department employees to solve practical security challenges.
• Lead development projects with increasing independence and provide progress updates through regular 1:1 meetings.
• Collaborate across teams and participate in technical talks and professional networking events.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or a similar field, with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• At least three months of general work experience; internships and personal or team projects count.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Long Beach for at least 12 consecutive weeks.
• For U.S. offices, must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR and related export regulations.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Military experience, active-duty or reserve service, or ROTC experience.
• Experience in the aerospace or technology industry.
