Cybersecurity Architect (Aerospace): Designing and implementing comprehensive security architectures for classified and unclassified systems serving the DoD and Intelligence Community with an accent on Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cross-domain solutions. Focus on building zero trust architectures, conducting threat modeling, and ensuring strict compliance with government cybersecurity frameworks.

Salary: $170,000 - $230,000 + equity

What you will do

• Architect end-to-end cybersecurity solutions for hirify.global, DoD, and IC environments.
• Lead system accreditation under the Risk Management Framework (RMF), including SSPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.
• Define security architecture baselines and standards for multi-domain and cross-domain environments.
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments for new and existing classified systems.
• Collaborate with program managers and government stakeholders to integrate security into SDLC processes.
• Provide technical guidance and implementation strategies for Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).

Requirements

• Active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph (must be in-scope and adjudicated).
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR.
• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience supporting DoD, IC, or U.S. government national security programs.
• Deep expertise in NIST SP 800-53, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253, and DODI 8510.01 (RMF).
• Proficiency in network security architecture, segmentation, PKI/encryption, and IAM/PAM.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture implementation (NIST SP 800-207).
• Familiarity with NSA-approved cryptographic solutions and key management.
• Background in classified cloud security architecture (AWS C2S, Azure Government).
• Experience as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or Manager (ISSM).
• Familiarity with the CMMC framework.
