Senior Security Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review platform and product code to identify security vulnerabilities and potential attack paths.
• Conduct red team exercises, penetration tests, and continuous security testing across applications and systems.
• Investigate vulnerabilities and support remediation from identification through resolution.
• Review code and system designs, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to ship secure solutions.
• Build internal tools, libraries, and automation to improve security testing and enforcement.
• Educate engineering teams on secure coding and current security threats.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with a strong security background.
• Strong programming experience in Go, Rust, or Java, including secure backend development.
• Professional security experience in fintech, banking, payments, crypto, or a similar financial technology environment.
• Hands-on experience with red teaming and penetration testing, plus a strong understanding of attacker techniques and software exploitation.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns such as OAuth2 and RBAC.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently on security problems through remediation.
