Art Director, Viral Marketing

Location: Greenville, NC; onsite work is preferred, while remote and hybrid applicants will also be considered.

Salary: $118,000–$148,000 base salary annually, plus an annual target bonus, employee equity plan eligibility, and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with a copywriter to develop and pitch concepts for viral marketing verticals.
• Translate creative concepts into visual identities, design systems, and finished executions.
• Direct visual standards across lighting, casting, wardrobe, set design, editing, sound design, and overall production.
• Present visual concepts to Creative Directors and senior leadership and create visual explorations before production.
• Collaborate with Production, Post Production, external designers, illustrators, animators, agencies, and vendors.
• Use generative AI tools to create rapid comps, establish visual direction, and streamline creative workflows.

Requirements

• Professional Art Director experience in entertainment, digital media, advertising, or another fast-moving creative environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, visual judgment, and art direction across multiple mediums.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.
• Strong proficiency with generative AI tools such as Gemini and Midjourney, including advanced prompt engineering.
• Strong understanding of the visual language and hierarchy of social media and YouTube.
• Experience collaborating with writers, Creative Directors, producers, and multidisciplinary teams, with strong presentation and pitching skills.
