Group Creative Director, Art (Healthcare)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid schedule with teams in the office an average of four days per week.

Salary: $125,000–$295,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead art and design direction for assigned healthcare brands and develop visual concepts that address client business challenges.
• Provide strategic feedback, elevate creative quality, and encourage innovative art direction and design.
• Present visual concepts and recommendations persuasively to internal teams and clients.
• Lead production efforts, manage budgets, and ensure effective integration of art and design.
• Build client relationships, identify opportunities to expand project scope, and communicate how creative work supports strategic objectives.
• Oversee art and design teams across multiple locations while managing project scopes and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, visual communication, or a related field.
• 10+ years of equivalent experience, including 5+ years of supervisory experience in art direction and design.
• Portfolio demonstrating creative and conceptual art and design thinking; healthcare or pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
• Expert knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual communication.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
• Strong presentation, client communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
