Senior Backend Software Engineer (Golang)

Location: Remote within Brazil only

What you will do

• Own core identity services covering account creation, account management, permissions, and account recovery.
• Architect and build scalable, resilient backend systems for global user growth.
• Optimize performance and infrastructure efficiency across core microservices.
• Develop high-impact products and features with end-to-end ownership.
• Lead AI-assisted development practices and help raise engineering standards.
• Collaborate with international engineering, UX, and product teams.

Requirements

• Prior experience building and operating distributed backend systems at scale is mandatory.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, data-intensive applications, cloud-native architectures, and scalable databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and scaling systems on Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms in production.
• Ability to own projects from technical design through implementation and operation.
• Strong communication skills, maintainable coding practices, and high AI fluency, including experience with LLMs and AI-assisted development.
