What you will do

• Edit documents according to client style guides and brand guidelines.
• Review spelling, grammar, punctuation, word choice, formatting, language quality, and consistency.
• Assess content structure, logical flow, story, and suitability for the target audience.
• Review promotional and pharmaceutical content while identifying data conflicts and scope changes.
• Follow project checklists and standard procedures while meeting assigned quality and timeline requirements.
• Raise flags for urgent issues and complete reviews with minimal managerial intervention.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Professional experience as an editor or proofreader.
• Background in life sciences, English literature, medical communications, or pharmaceutical content.
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in life sciences, or an M.A. in English literature with relevant pharmaceutical editing experience.
• Experience reviewing promotional materials or working in a medical or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
