What you will do

• Develop, optimize, validate, and transfer surface processes for Nitinol medical devices.
• Work with microblasting, chemical etching, chemical polishing, electropolishing, cleaning, and surface quality standards.
• Apply statistical analysis and Design of Experiments to characterize processes, identify key parameters, and optimize performance.
• Investigate process and product issues, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Transfer processes to manufacturing sites through documentation, training, validation support, and implementation troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams while managing multiple technical priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Biomedical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and independent execution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates with time-limited visa status will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with Minitab or JMP.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving principles.
